OUR STREAMLINED APPROACH THAT EFFORTLESSLY TRANSFORMS YOUR SPACE INTO STUNNING INTERIORS!

Here are the steps you will most likely experience during a remodel when working with Streamline

 

1.  Initial Design Discovery Consultation:

Our Design Discovery Consultation is a perfect way to get acquainted. During this meeting, we'll listen to your design vision and goals, discuss your budget, capture photos and offer a few great ideas. We encourage you to share your inspirational photos with us to help guide the conversation and gain knowledge of what you like. Share with us who will be the primary point of contact during your project so we can maintain communication and transparency.

2. Proposal/Scope of Work, Design Agreement & Retainer:

Following the discovery consultation, we’ll create a Proposal & Scope of Work that we will review together in person. We are happy to make adjustments. Once it’s approved, you’ll sign our interior design agreement and make a down payment listed in the proposal to secure our services. 

 

3. Details & Design Development:

This is where true creativity sets in! We’ll schedule a follow-up meeting to dive deeper into desired style, textures, colors, material types, fixtures and home furnishings, functionality requirements, space planning layouts, make professional design suggestions and so much more. This step usually takes some time to develop so let’s have fun creating a design that is uniquely yours! Additionally, if you’ve hired a General Contractor, Architect, Budget Manager, or any other Subcontractors, now is the time to introduce them to us to ensure open communication. Teamwork makes the dream work!

 

4. Product Sourcing & Procurement:

Once your design plan is finalized, we’ll move into selecting the perfect building materials, fixtures, and furnishings to match your style and functional needs. Shopping can take place at design centers, retail stores, or through our “Product Presentations”. Our presentations feature carefully curated selections designed to create a cohesive, beautiful space that complements your design plan.

Each presentation includes photos, measurements, and pricing for easy comparison. Once you’ve selected item’s you love, I will order them on your behalf or provide a direct purchasing link for you. If you’d like, I can deliver building material samples to your home for you to review for a small fee saving you time and multiple trips.

Once your selections are finalized, we’ll invoice you upfront for your items and handle the ordering, track shipments, and address any deficiencies or damages with Vendors and set up returns (if needed). Don’t worry, you always have final say on all purchases.

 

5. Project Coordination: (Does not replace General Contractors)

With background experience in project management, we stay hands-on through every phase of your project. With our optional project coordination service, we’ll make sure your design plan stays front and center throughout the construction process. Acting as your main point of contact with the general contractor, we serve as both your advocate and liaison, keeping you fully informed of progress. Through regular site visits, we monitor subcontractor timelines, key milestones, workflows, and installation quality. Our depth of experience provides insights and guidance that many designers simply cannot offer.

 

6. Project Walk Through:

Once construction is finished, we’ll conduct a thorough walkthrough with you to help identify any overlooked details and ensure the work meets your expectations. This is a great opportunity to address any final questions or concerns you may have.

 

7. Wrapping Things Up:

We’ll arrange a final appointment to capture beautiful photographs of your newly transformed space and settle any outstanding payments. The joy of seeing your design become a reality and the smile on your face is our greatest reward!
